Puzzling Events is a small creative studio that designs custom digital puzzle and reveal experiences for personal events, creative launches, and brand moments. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and how you can contact us about it.

This policy covers the Puzzling Events website and any commission enquiry submitted through it. If we accept a project, our handling of project-specific materials and personal information will be governed by the separate written agreement we sign with you for that engagement.

This website is only used to collect enough information to talk with you about a possible project. We don’t ask for payment details here — if a project goes ahead, billing is handled separately. We also don’t ask for sensitive personal information through this site, and we’d encourage you not to send any unless it genuinely matters for your project (see “Information you choose to send” below).

We use a small number of trusted third-party service providers to operate the site and receive enquiries. Each one processes information only on our behalf and only for the purpose described below.

• Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — hosts and protects this website. We also use Cloudflare Turnstile to help confirm that form submissions are made by real people rather than automated programs. • Resend (United States) — delivers commission enquiries from the website to our email inbox. More information is available in Resend’s privacy policy.

If we add or change service providers in the future, we will update this list.

Where we operate and where information is processed

Puzzling Events is operated from Oregon, United States. The service providers listed above also process information in the United States. If you are submitting an enquiry from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

When we share information

• with our professional advisors (such as accountants or attorneys), where reasonably necessary to operate the business

If your project involves personal stories, names, dates, photos, audio, video, or other private materials, we will discuss the best way to handle those materials before production begins, and that handling will be covered in our separate project agreement.

Children’s privacy

This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this site. If a project is for a child’s event or a family event, the enquiry should be submitted by an adult, and we will only work with an adult on the project.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this site, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information submitted through this site, including the protections provided by our hosting and email service providers. No website or service can guarantee absolute security, and you submit information at your own discretion.
